Anne Lennard, Baroness Dacre was born on 17 August 1684. She was the daughter of Thomas Lennard, 1st and last Earl of Essex and Lady Anne Palmer. She married, firstly, Richard Barrett, son of Dacre Barrett and Lady Jane Chichester, on 15 July 1716 at London, England. She married, secondly, Henry Roper, 8th Baron Teynham, son of Christopher Roper, 5th Baron Teynham and Hon. Elizabeth Browne, in March 1717/18. She married, thirdly, Hon. Robert Moore, son of Henry Hamilton-Moore, 3rd Earl of Drogheda and Mary Cole, on 16 October 1725 at London, England. She died on 26 June 1755 at age 70. She was Roman Catholic.2 From 15 July 1716, her married name became Barrett-Lennard. She sold the Chevening estate, Kent for £28,000 in 1717 to James Stanhope, 1st Earl Stanhope.2 From March 1717/18, her married name became Roper. From 16 October 1725, her married name became Moore. She succeeded to the title of 16th Baroness Dacre [E., 1321] in 1741, suo jure, when the abeyance was terminated in her favour.2 Child of Anne Lennard, Baroness Dacre and Hon. Robert Moore
