Gertrude "Trudy" HERTIG

Gertrude "Trudy" Alice Hertig Ramseyer, 90, passed away Dec. 21,1999, in her home in Salt Lake City, Utah, surrounded by her family.Born in Zurich, Switzerland, to Bertha Kaenzig and Walter Eduart Hertig on April 4, 1909.Trudy married Herman Ramseyer on March 22, 1939 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on March 21, 1994. Trudy loved music, flowers and watching the birds. Some of her favorite hobbies were knitting and crocheting. She was a member of the LDS Church, and the founding member of the Swiss Chorus Edelweiss. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Ramseyer; sons, Steven (Joann)and Trent (Lois) Ramseyer; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a grandson; parents; one sister and five brothers. Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 27, 1999, at 12 noon, at the Eldredge Ward, 3219 S. 300 East. Friends and family are invited to visit Sunday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, and Monday, one hour prior to services at the ward. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank those at Rocky Mountain Hospice who helped all of us.
