The Aymari Rivalli De Allobrogibus records that "Guigo secundus" married "Macildam vel Clementiam filiam Stephani seu Sophini, Burgundiæ ducis, neptem papæ Claixti secundi"[92]. She founded the Abbaye des Ayes after the death of her husband. A monumental inscription at the abbey of Ayes, near Grenoble, records the death "VI Id Feb" in 1164 of "Margareta comitissa"[93].
