Adelaide of Holland (Dutch: Aleide (Aleidis); c.?1230 \endash buried 9 April 1284), Countess of Hainaut, was a Dutch regent. She was a daughter of Floris IV, Count of Holland and Matilda of Brabant. She was also a sister of William II, Count of Holland and King of Germany. She acted as regent for her nephew Count Floris V during his minority.


Adelaïde married John D'AVESNES , Comte d'Hainaut, son of Bouchard IV (Burchard) D'AVESNES , Lord of Avesnes and Étrœungt and Margaret OF FLANDERS , Countess of Flanders and Hainaut, on 9 Oct 1246. (John D'AVESNES , Comte d'Hainaut was born on 1 May 1218 in Houffalize, Luxemburg and died on 24 Dec 1257 in Valenciennes, Nord, France.)
