On the departure of her parents from Ireland in1794, Sara was left (as has been said) in charge of her father'ssister " her aunt, Nancy Fenton. In accordance with her father'sdesire and positive request, the little child was brought up in theProtestant Episcopal Church. Mr. Rawson was at that time asomewhat extreme adherent of the Church of England. Besidesthe political disturbances of that period in Ireland, (it was in thevery midst of the Irish Revolution, or Rebellion,) could not wellhave failed to work a disastrous effect on her youthful mind.
Sarah married John TRACY, son of Edward TRACY and Catharine, in 1820. (John TRACY was born in 1785 in Birr, Kings County, Ireland, died on 27 Nov 1842 and was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy, Rensselaer County, NY, USA.)
