Appointed one of the Justices of the Court of the Queen's Bench in Ireland in 1559.[1]
Luke married Margaret, daughter of Sir Thomas Luttrell of Luttrellstown. They had at least two sons:[1]
John, the eldest, succeeded his father and was Knight of the Shire for Meath in the Parliament of 1585. He died 20 September 1601. Richard, of Corbalis in Meath; born c 1545, died without issue in 1607. He was second justice of the court of king's bench. Sent in 1576 by the lords of the Pale on "a mission to Queen Elizabeth to seek redress from a burden imposed by Sir Henry Sidney, lord-deputy of Ireland.... In 1585 he was returned to parliament as M.P. for Dublin county. He died on 5 Sept. 1607 and was buried at Donabate, co. Dublin." Married to Alison, daughter of Sir John Plunket of Dunsoghly.[2] Apparently died without issue.
Luke (Lucas) died about 1560.[3]
