TFNS: Territorial Force Nursing Service. The Royal Red Cross is a military decoration awarded in the United Kingdom and Commonwealth for exceptional services in military nursing.
Her name appears on the Board of Guardians in Birmingham: This striking memorial is unusual, in that it commemorates not only those killed in a war, but also those who fought and returned. It has been moved to the Council House, near to the main reception. It is not in a public area, but may be viewed on request. The panels on either side are headed: Officials who served in the Great War 1914-1918
