  General Notes:

Dear Sir,
I can add some dates to Rev. Albert Hurt Sitwell (1824-1894) and Frances (Fanny) Jane Fetherstonhaugh (1839-1924), because the lady was a close friend to the Scottish writer Robert Louis Stevenson.
You may find her biography on the RLStevenson website:
<http://www.robert-louis-stevenson.org/friends-correspondents/98-fanny-sitwell>
and some more information in the book "Selected letters of Robert Louis Stevenson", ed. Mehew, Yale Press 2001, p. 35.
Rev. Sitwell was her first husband: they married in 1869, had two sons (only one survived, Bertie); she broke away from her husband in 1873; finally she married Sir Sidney Colvin, in 1903.
Are there any links between Frances Sitwell and Russian personalities? I am reserarching the life of Stevenson, in particular his friendship with some Russian personalities he met in France at Menton, in winter 1873-1874. They were prince Lev S. Golitsyn (1845-1915), princess Nadya Zasetsky (born Kherkheulidze, 1838-1882) and her sister princess Sophia Garshine (1840-?). They were from Crimea.
I thank you sincerely for any help you could give me in my investigation!

Best wishes,
Mafalda Cipollone
