Census 1901: Edward H., Jocelyn, Flo & Helen where visitors at 64, Newton Hall, Whittington, Lancashire. Head of family: North North

The Misses Thomas lived in Petersfield, Hants. in the mid-fifties (where the family visited them, direct source)

From Douglas Graham: Flo and Helen had a house in Sussex which I visited when I was six or seven years old (that would have been around the time that Ned died) - I remember breaking a mirror in the cloakroom of the house, which annoyed my father very much, and talking to the gardner who showed me how he set traps for the moles which were making piles of earth on the lawn. They were looked after by a woman in her twenties called Helen, who we called "little Helen (Wood)" to distinguish her from aunty Helen, who kept horses in the stables of the house. I still remember her very high pitched voice - possibly she had a cleft pallet.
Helen and Flo later moved to a house in Petersfield in Hampshire, which we visited shortly after we moved to Mayfield in 1957, just before they died.
Little Helen, who had become a gliding fanatic, was still looking after them,
and they left all their money to her, much to my mother's disappointment. I do
not know where they were buried, but I doubt it being Thurston, as it is a long way from Petersfield.

Note abt. Helen Wood from Ana: After they died, she lived in Sussex near a wartime airfield on the old railway line...
