Died: 15 Jun 1381

Notes: He died at Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England, apparently dragged into the market place by a mob and beheaded. He suppressed unrest in York during the Peasants' Revolt. He held the office of Lord of the Manor of Cavendish Overhall, Suffolk. He held the office of Chief Justice of the King's Bench in 1366, 1373 and 1377. He held the office of Chancellor of Cambridge University circa 1381.
