LUKE WHITE, of Woodlands, co. Dublin, high sheriff 1804, M.P. of Leitrim 1812-24, high sheriff, co. Longford 1806, who had acquired considerable wealth, purchased Lord Carhampton's estate of Luttrelstown. He was b. 1740, and m. 1st (marr. licence 7 Feb. 1781), Elizabeth, dau. of Peter de la Maziere, of Dublin, of a Huguenot family, and had issue. (...)

5. William, of Shrubs, co. Dublin, b. 1801; m. 2 Oct. 1824, Isabella, dau. of Rev. Henry Bailey, rector of Nenagh. She d. 20 Jan. 1866. He d. 14 Feb. 1857, leaving issue.
