George St. George, 1st Baron Saint George of Hatley Saint George was born circa 1658.1 He was the son of Sir Oliver St. George, 1st Bt. and Olivia Beresford.1 He married Hon. Margaret Skeffington, daughter of John Skeffington, 2nd Viscount Massereene and Hon. Mary Clotworthy, on 29 November 1681.1 He died on 4 August 1735, without male issue.1 He was also reported to have died on 18 August 1735.1
With remainder in default of heirs male of his own body to those of his f.2 Cos Roscommon and Leitrim (I).2 He was educated Trin College Dublin.2 He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) (I Parl) County Roscommon , 1695'9699 and 1703'9615, V-Adml Connaught in 1692.2 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet St. George in October 1695. He was Privy Counsellor (P.C.) (I ) in 1715.2 He was created 1st Baron Saint George of Hatley Saint George, in the counties of Roscommon and Leitrim [Ireland] on 18 April 1715.1
George married The Hon. Margaret SKEFFINGTON, daughter of Sir John SKEFFINGTON 2d Visc. Massereene and The Hon. Mary CLOTWORTHY, on 29 Nov 1681.1 (The Hon. Margaret SKEFFINGTON died in 1711 in Ireland 2.)
