Lady Eleanor BEAUCHAMP
General Notes: Lady Eleanor Beauchamp was born between 1407 and 1408 at Wedgenock, Warwickshire, England.2 She was the daughter of Richard Beauchamp, 13th Earl of Warwick and Elizabeth de Berkeley.1,3 She married, firstly, Thomas de Ros, 8th Lord de Ros of Helmsley, son of William de Ros, 6th Lord de Ros of Helmsley and Margaret d'Arundel, before 1430.2 She married, secondly, Edmund Beaufort, 1st Duke of Somerset, son of John de Beaufort, 1st Earl of Somerset and Lady Margaret de Holand, between 1431 and 1435 in a unlicensed marriage, although this was pardoned on 7 March 1438.2 She married, thirdly, Walter Rokesley.2 She died between 4 March 1466 and 8 March 1468 at Baynard's Castle, London, England.2 Eleanor married Edmund BEAUFORT 1st Duke of Somerset, son of John DE BEAUFORT 1st Earl of Somerset and Lady Margaret HOLLAND, between 1431 and 1435. (Edmund BEAUFORT 1st Duke of Somerset was born about 1406 and died on 22 May 1455 in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England.) |
