John Dungan was born about 1551 in Dublin, Leinster, Ireland, and died there in 1592. He married Margaret Forster in 1578 in Celbridge, Kildare, Ireland. She was born about 1555 in Celbridge, Kildare, Ireland and died in 1597 in Dublin, Ireland. She was the daughter of Walter Forster and Margaret Netterville. The children born to John and Margaret were: Walter, Edward, Thomas, and William.
