The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines names "sorore ducis Burgundie" as wife of "Roberti [comitis Alvernie]" but does not name her[339]. Her birth and marriage dates are estimated approximately from the dates of her parents' marriage, father's death, and possible birth dates of her siblings, but bearing in mind the possible marriage date of her second son. A charter dated May 1201 records disputes between "dominum Robertum…Claromontensem episcopum et Guidonem…comitem Arverniæ", mediated by "domino Odone…duce Burgundiæ" and naming "domina Mathildis mater eius"[340]. Dame de Limais, by grant as dowry.
