George Evans, 4th Baron Carbery was born on 18 February 1766. He was the son of George Evans, 3rd Baron Carbery and Elizabeth Horton . He married Susan Watson , daughter of Colonel Henry Watson, on 13 August 1792 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England , with a fortune of £6,000 p.a. He died on 31 December 1804 at age 38 at Reddish's Hotel, London, England , from a burst blood vessel, without issue. He was buried at Laxton, Nottinghamshire, England .
George Evans, 4th Baron Carbery was educated between 1778 and 1781 at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England. He succeeded to the title of 4th Baron Carbery, of Carbery, co. Cork [I., 1715] on 26 May 1783. He matriculated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England , on 5 May 1784. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Rutland between 1802 and 1804.
