Judicial chronicle
The case about terrible murder of owner Goilova and Karaymli in the village of Pauleshty.
26 October of 1889 on the sitting of the Court referring of the imputation of a crime of one retired gunner from landless peasants of Kovelsky district as Nicephorus Grisyuk who murdered Maria Goilova and her sisterTeresa Karaymli in the village of Pauleshty. Maria Goilova was 55 years old, her sister was 34. This murder was executed with the goal of a robbery. It was atrocious crime. Maria was killed by one deathblow with an axeblade and 4 times of butt of an axe when she slept. Teresa was killed by the same axe. Also after it she was found out with knocked teeth, flatten jaw and without somy fingers. Criminal defendant was arrested with some stolen things that belonged to the killed Maria Goilova. There were gold watch, bracelet of gold and the axe with human blood. Luca Goilov who's a son of murdered Goilova told that arrested Grisyuk Grisiuk has been as watchmen in their family garden. Watch and its box that discovered at N Grisyuk were owned to Luca Goilov, His father bought these watch in Vienna. Also Emmanuel Goilov was the witness at this sitting of the Court. He identified all private things belong to Goilov family too.
Nicephorus Grisyuk was sentenced to imprisonment for 20 years.

The next article in Bessarabsky vestnic (Herald of Bessarabia) number 135 , 18 February (03 March), 1890) and named as "On Kishinev places of imprisonment"
was dedicated to Kishinev prison castle. I learn the building of this monument. Suddenly I found out that Nicephorus Grisyuk who killed owner Goilova was condemned for 20 years had been in this prison. Author wrote that he was most probably mentally ill or brilliant simulator. He said a nonsense as: "My shackles sing a song. I haven't to sit here before the Court. These shackles will go me into the earth."
It is terrible and sad story.

Maria married Ion Luca GOILOV, son of Sluger Luca GOILOV and Maria HEUL. (Ion Luca GOILOV was born in 1822, died on 28 Mar 1886 in Paulesti, , , Moldova and was buried in Paulesti, , , Moldova.)
