Stephanie EVANS-LAWRENCE

   Another name for Stephanie was Stephanie BOWLE-EVANS.

  General Notes:

KatharineEvans-Lawrence retained Whittington at hersale of Sandywell in 1920 (fn. 157) and, having sold parts of her Whittington estate, (fn. 158) was succeeded at her death in 1954 by her daughter Stephanie Evans-Lawrence (fn. 159) (d. 1985), who left a reduced estate, including the manor house and much ofthe village, to a friend Joan Charleston, wife of Robert Charleston. The Charlestons both died in 1994 and the estate, comprising c. 275 ha.(680 a.), passed to their daughter Jennifer, wife of Mr. J. L. Stringer. (fn. 160)
