Robert LONGFIELD

The Peerage: Robert Longfield was born in 1652 at Denbigh, Denbighshire, Wales. He was the son of John Longfield. He died on 18 November 1711. He was a friend of Jonathan Swift. He lived at Kilbride, County Meath, Ireland.

Robert obtained an extensive grant of land in Cos. Westmeath. Meath a nd Clare, under the commission of grace, by Patent dated 15th April 1 685. He resided at Kilbride, Co. Meath m., and d. 1710. Leaving issue , which became extinct in the male line on the death of his Great Grandson, Robert Longfield in 1790.

Robert married Katherine WHITE in Mar 1672.¹ (Katherine WHITE was born in 1654 of Kilbride, , Meath, Ireland ³ and died on 9 Nov 1723 ³.)
