He was born on March 25th 1865 and baptized in May at St. Peters in Thurston, Suffolk. On June 15th 1889 at St Georges Hannover Sq. he married Ethel Minna Schreiber, (born February 20th 1865 at St. Mary le Bow and baptized on April 12th at St. Marylebone) daughter of Col. P. B. Schreiber of the Royal Scotts. They had two children (see below). He died in 1935 and she died on February 2nd 1943 in Tonbridge Wells.
