John Tuchet, 6th Lord Audley (of Heleigh) was the son of James Tuchet, 5th Lord Audley (of Heleigh) and Margaret de Ros.1 He married Anne Echingham, daughter of Sir Thomas Echingham and Margaret Knyvett, before 1456.1 He died on 26 September 1490.1 He succeeded to the title of 6th Lord Audley, of Heleigh [E., 1313] on 23 September 1459, by writ.1 In 1461 at Calais, France, he was taken prisoner.1 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1471.1 He was joint commander of the Army in 1471.1 He held the office of Master of the King's Dogs on 5 July 1471.1 He held the office of Lord Treasurer [England] in 1484.1 Children of John Tuchet, 6th Lord Audley (of Heleigh) and Anne Echingham
