The Peerage
Colonel Chidley Coote was born on 10 January 1798.2 He was the son of Chidley Coote and Elizabeth Anne Carr.2 He married, firstly, Jane Deborah Close, daughter of Reverend Samuel Close and Deborah Champagne, on 8 May 1827.2 He married, secondly, Catherine Maria Brabazon, daughter of William Philip Brabazon and Letitia Vignoles, on 3 May 1859.2 He died on 21 July 1876 at age 78.2
He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Scots Guards.2 He lived at Huntington, County Laois, Ireland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2
