Charles Malcom Aubrey FRENCH
General Notes: BIOGRAPHY: He was a scholar at Wellington College. and won a Scholarship to Christchurcb Oxford. In 1940 he gave up Oxford and enlisted in the City of London Yeomanry, the Sharpshooters, and was posted to North Africa. He was killed in action on 6 June 1942, at the age of 21. He is recorded on the Alamein Memorial in Egypt. |
