General Notes: On Oct 23 1832, Mary Studdert Mansergh was deeded a tract of land in Quebec by Edward Fitzgerald Studdert. This land was located six miles north of Beebee, Quebec, on the Canadian and United States border. Mary brought her sons, Lewis and George, to America, settled on this property and farmed it with the aid of the two sons. Mary married George Duke MANSERGH, son of Capt. George MANSERGH and Jane DACRE, on 16 Oct 1813.1 (George Duke MANSERGH was born about 1781 in Riversdale, Kildare, , Ireland 3.)
